São José dos Campos
They say that the Banhado is the postal card of São José. It’s a nice view, ok. But it’s noisy and crowded, not comfortable. A better way to watch the sunset it’s on a peaceful and isolated place, or climbing a tree. There’s a nice tree you can climb deep in the Banhado. Surrounded by a farm with horses and cows, and even a railroad. You can reach it easily by bicycle or walking, following the roads that go down in the Banhado’s bottom, directed by the signs to ‘Res Esplanada do Sol’. Reaching ‘Res Esplanada do Sol’ you keep walking in the not paved road and go straight ahead. The tree is on the end of the road. Just before the railroad, where sometimes a huge and noisy train passes. The tree isn’t very tall, but it’s lonely and easy to climb. It’s a inhabited place, but people are far. Sex and drugs are possible. Go for the sunset, the night sky is equally valuable.
